LM43600PWPT

The LM43600 regulator is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter capable of driving load currents up to 0.5A, with an input voltage range of 3.5V to 36V (42V transient). It delivers excellent efficiency, output accuracy, and dropout voltage in an extremely compact solution size. The extended family offers 1A, 2A, and 3A load current options in pin-to-pin compatible packages. Peak current mode control provides simple control loop compensation and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. Optional features include programmable switching frequency, synchronization, power-good flag, precision enable, internal soft-start, scalable soft-start, and tracking, offering a flexible and easy-to-use platform for a wide range of applications. Discontinuous conduction mode and automatic frequency modulation at light loads improve light-load efficiency. The family requires minimal external components, and the pinout enables simple, optimized PCB layout and routing. Protection features include thermal shutdown, VCC undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and output short-circuit protection. Pin-to-pin compatible with LM46000, LM46001, LM46002, LM43601, LM43602, and LM43603 devices.
