The LM76002-Q1/LM76003-Q1 regulators are easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converters capable of driving load currents up to 2.5A (LM76002-Q1) or 3.5A (LM76003-Q1) with input voltages up to 60V. The LM76002-Q1/LM76003-Q1 solution offers an extremely small footprint while delivering excellent efficiency and output accuracy. Peak current mode control is employed. Adjustable features — including adjustable switching frequency, synchronization, FPWM option, power-good flag, precision enable, adjustable soft-start, and tracking — provide a flexible and easy-to-use solution for a wide range of applications. Automatic frequency foldback at light load and an optional external bias supply further improve efficiency. The device requires minimal external components, and its pinout is optimized to simplify PCB layout, delivering excellent EMI (CISPR25) and thermal performance. Protection features include input undervoltage lockout, thermal shutdown, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and short-circuit protection. The LM76002-Q1/LM76003-Q1 devices are available in a 30-pin WQFN leadless package with wettable flanks.
