LMR10520YSDX/NOPB

The LMR10520 regulator is a monolithic, high-frequency, PWM step-down DC/DC converter in a 6-pin WSON package. It provides all active functions to deliver local DC/DC conversion with fast transient response and precise regulation in the smallest possible PCB area. The LMR10520 requires minimal external components, making it easy to use. The device drives a 2A load through an internal 150mΩ PMOS switch for optimal power density. The control circuit achieves an on-time as low as 30ns, enabling ultra-high frequency conversion across the full 3V to 5.5V input operating voltage range with a minimum output voltage of 0.6V. The LMR10520 is internally compensated for ease of use, eliminating the need for external components. Despite the high operating frequency, efficiency of up to 93% is easily achievable. An external shutdown function is included, featuring an ultra-low standby current of 30nA. The LMR10520 employs current-mode control and internal compensation to deliver high-performance regulation across a wide range of operating conditions. Additional features include an internal soft-start circuit to reduce inrush current, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown, and output overvoltage protection.
