The LMR36006 regulator is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter. The device features integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, delivering up to 0.6A of output current over a wide input voltage range of 4.2V to 60V. Tolerance up to 66V. This transient voltage tolerance reduces the design effort required to protect against overvoltage and meets the surge immunity requirements of IEC 61000-4-5. The LMR36006 uses a peak current mode control mechanism to provide optimal efficiency and output voltage accuracy. Precision enable supports direct connection to wide input voltages or precise control of device startup and shutdown, offering design flexibility. A power-good flag with built-in filtering and delay provides a true indication of system status, eliminating the need for external monitors. The LMR36006 uses a HotRod package to achieve low noise, higher efficiency, and minimal package-to-die ratio. The device requires minimal external components, with a pin layout designed for simple PCB routing. The LMR36006's small solution size and feature set are designed to simplify implementation across a variety of end equipment, including applications with stringent space requirements such as ultra-compact field transmitters and vision sensors.
