The LMR36015-Q1 regulator is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter. The device features integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, delivering up to 1.5A of output current over a wide input voltage range of 4.2V to 60V, with a tolerance of up to 66V. The LMR36015-Q1 employs a peak current mode control scheme to provide optimal efficiency and output voltage accuracy. Leveraging advanced high-speed circuitry, the LMR36015-Q1 achieves regulation from a 20V input to a 5V output at a fixed frequency of 2.1MHz. A precision enable pin supports direct connection to wide input voltages or precise control of device startup and shutdown, offering design flexibility. The power-good flag, with built-in filtering and delay, provides a true indication of system status, eliminating the need for external supervisors. The LMR36015-Q1 uses a HotRod package to achieve low EMI, higher efficiency, and a minimal package-to-die ratio. The device requires very few external components, and its pin layout enables simple PCB routing. The small solution size and feature set of the LMR36015-Q1 are designed to simplify implementation across a wide range of end equipment.
