A dual current feedback amplifier featuring large output current and excellent large-signal characteristics. With high slew rate, 500mA output drive current, and operating voltage up to ±15V, it can deliver considerable power in the 1MHz to 2MHz frequency range. Short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown ensure the device is resistant to damage. Capable of stable operation under large capacitive load conditions, providing the high current required by capacitive loads. The shutdown feature switches the device to a high-impedance, low-current operating mode, reducing power consumption when the device is inactive. For applications requiring lower bandwidth, an external resistor can be used to reduce supply current. Housed in a very compact, thermally enhanced 20-pin TSSOP package for maximum port density in line driver applications.
