MAX20403AFLB/VY+

The MAX20402/MAX20403 ICs are compact, low-EMI emission synchronous Silent Switcher buck converters with integrated high-side and low-side switches. The MAX20402/MAX20403 deliver up to 2.5A/3.5A of output current over a wide input voltage range of 3V to 36V. Output voltage quality can be monitored via the PGOOD signal. These ICs operate at up to 99% duty cycle in step-down mode, making them well suited for automotive and industrial applications. The MAX20402/MAX20403 offer externally programmable or internally fixed 5V and 3.3V output voltages. Fixed internal frequency options of 3MHz/2.1MHz/400kHz are available, allowing the use of small external components and reduced output ripple while ensuring AM band interference-free operation. When the SYNC pin is low, the MAX20402/MAX20403 automatically enter skip-cycle mode at light loads, with an ultralow quiescent current of only 10μA at no load. A pin-selectable forced PWM mode is also available to help improve EMI performance. These devices feature a spread-spectrum frequency modulation option designed to minimize EMI emissions caused by modulated frequencies. The MAX20402/MAX20403 are available in a compact 3mm x 3mm FC2QFN package and require very few external components.
