Overview
Monolithic DC/DC voltage converter IC fabricated in CMOS process. Features voltage inversion, doubling, splitting, and multiplied voltage output. Operates stably from 1.5V to 5V with no external diodes required across the entire temperature range. Delivers 10mA of current per 0.5V voltage drop. The BOOST input raises the oscillator frequency above the audio band, reducing output ripple and thereby relaxing external capacitance requirements. Combines low quiescent current with high conversion efficiency; integrates on-chip oscillator control circuitry and four power MOSFET switches. Typical applications include negative voltage generation, voltage doubling, and input voltage halving.
