NCS21671 and NCV21671 are a family of voltage-output current-sense amplifiers offering gain options of 25, 50, 100, and 200 V/V. These devices measure the voltage across a shunt resistor at common-mode voltages from -0.1 V to 40 V, independent of supply voltage. The low offset voltage of the zero-drift architecture enables current sensing at shunt voltage drops as low as 10 mV full scale. An optional enable function reduces current consumption at the input and supply pins to negligible levels when the device is disabled or Vs falls below 1.5 V. Two optional pins are included to simplify input filtering. These devices operate from a single supply of +1.8 V to +5.5 V with a maximum supply current of 80 μA. The family is available in Micro10 and SC70-6 packages.
