Overview

OC7140 is a linear buck LED constant current driver with PWM dimming. A complete LED constant current driving circuit can be constructed with only a single external resistor; adjusting this resistor sets the output current, with an output current range of 10~2000mA. OC7140 integrates a 30V 50mΩ MOSFET. OC7140 features built-in over-temperature protection to effectively protect the IC from damage caused by overheating. OC7140 has very low quiescent current, with a typical value of 60μA. OC7140 supports PWM dimming, allowing LED current adjustment by applying a PWM signal to the DIM pin. OC7140 is available in an ESOP8 package. The exposed thermal pad is connected to the LED pin.
