Bourns offers transient voltage suppression diodes for surge and ESD protection applications in the compact chip package DO-214AA (SMB) size. This TVS diode series provides breakdown voltage options from 6.8 V to 550 V. Typical fast response time from 0 V to minimum breakdown voltage is less than 1.0 picosecond for unidirectional devices and less than 5.0 picoseconds for bidirectional devices. Bourns chip diodes meet JEDEC standards, are easy to handle with standard placement equipment, and feature a flat profile to reduce rolling.
