Overview
The SLVD312HCU TVS diode is designed to replace multilayer varistors (MLVs) in portable applications such as mobile phones, laptops, and personal digital assistants. It offers superior electrical characteristics, including low clamping voltage, low leakage current, and high surge capability. This diode is designed to protect sensitive electronic components connected to power lines against overstress caused by ESD, EFT, and lightning strikes. The SLVD312HCU is housed in a SOD-323 package and protects one bidirectional line. It provides ESD protection up to ±30kV (contact and air discharge) per IEC61000-4-2, and can withstand peak pulse currents up to 55A (8/20μs) per IEC61000-4-5.
