Overview

The THS4552 fully differential amplifier can provide a simple interface between a single-ended source and a differential output, thereby meeting the requirements of various high-precision analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). This device features excellent DC accuracy, low noise, and robust capacitive load driving capability, making it highly suitable for data acquisition systems with high-precision requirements. Meanwhile, the combination of the amplifier and the ADC can provide excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR). The THS4552 has the required negative power supply rail input, which can be used to connect DC-coupled, ground-centered source signals to single-supply differential input ADCs. The ultra-low DC error and drift terms can meet the input requirements of emerging 16- to 20-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs. The wide-range output common-mode control supports ADCs powered by 1.8V to 5V supplies, meeting the common-mode input requirements of ADCs from 0.7V to over 3.0V. The THS4552 device operates over a rated wide temperature range of –40°C to +125°C and is available in 16-pin TSSOP and 24-pin VQFN packages. The THS4552 supports low-power ADCs.
