Overview
The THS6301 is a single-channel current-feedback differential line driver that supports G.Fast and various Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) home gateway systems. This device supports the 106 MHz and 212 MHz G.Fast DSL profiles and uses local Discrete Multi-Tone (DMT) signals. The THS6301 can achieve high linearity at 212 MHz with a line power of 8 dBm. The device's unique architecture minimizes quiescent current while still providing extremely high linearity. For line-driving modes that do not require the full performance of the amplifier, the device's internal bias settings offer energy-saving benefits. To further enhance flexibility and save more power, the total quiescent current can be adjusted via an external bias resistor connected to a device pin. Additionally, the device features two line termination modes to maintain impedance matching with very low power consumption. The device can also be used as a fixed-gain differential amplifier, with its bandwidth and power scalable to meet the requirements of different applications.
