Overview
Metal to silicon rectifier diode in glass case featuring very low forward voltage drop and fast recovery time, intended for low voltage switching mode power supply, polarity protection and high frequency circuits.

Key features
- Pulse test conditions: tp≤300μs, δ<2
- Forward current conducted by majority carriers; reverse recovery unaffected by stored charge
- Switching from forward bias to reverse blocking state requires charging the depletion capacitance; current depends on diode capacitance and external circuit impedance
- Can be modeled as an ideal diode in parallel with a variable capacitance equal to the junction capacitance
- MELF glass package, cathode end marked with band, weight 0.15g
