Overview

The TPS53318 and TPS53319 devices are 8A or 14A synchronous switchers with integrated MOSFETs and D-CAP mode control. They are designed for ease of use, low external component count, and space-constrained power systems. These devices feature a precise 1%, 0.6V reference and an integrated boost switch. Examples of competitive features include: 1.5V to 22V wide conversion input voltage range, ultra-low external component count, D-CAP™ mode control for ultra-fast transient response, automatic skip mode operation, internal soft-start control, selectable frequency, and no compensation required. The conversion input voltage range is 1.5V to 22V, the supply voltage range is 4.5V to 25V, and the output voltage range is 0.6V to 5.5V. These devices are available in a 5mm x 6mm 22-pin QFN package, rated for an operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C.
