TPS53511RGTR

An adaptive on-time D-CAP2™ mode synchronous buck converter. Designed for point-of-load (POL) applications in computing power systems, offering a cost-effective, low-component-count solution with low standby current. The main control loop uses D-CAP2™ mode control to achieve fast transient response without external components. Adaptive on-time control enables seamless operation between PWM mode under heavy-load conditions and frequency-reduction operation under light-load conditions for high efficiency. Proprietary circuitry also allows compatibility with low-ESR output capacitors such as POSCAP or SP-CAP, as well as ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors. Operates with a power supply input voltage of 4.5V to 18V and an input power voltage of 2V to 18V, with adjustable soft-start time and power-good functionality, and supports pre-biased soft-start. Available in a 16-pin QFN package, designed for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
