The TPS568215 is a monolithic 8A synchronous buck converter featuring adaptive on-time D-CAP3™ control mode. The device integrates low RDS(on) power MOSFETs, offering ease of use and high efficiency with minimal external components, making it ideal for space-constrained power systems. Key features include a highly accurate reference voltage, fast load transient response, automatic skip mode for improved light-load efficiency, adjustable current limit, and no external compensation required. Forced continuous conduction mode helps meet the stringent voltage regulation accuracy requirements of high-performance DSP and FPGA applications. The TPS568215 is available in a thermally enhanced 18-pin HotRod™ QFN package, rated for operation over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. The TPS568215 is pin-compatible with the TPS56C215, providing design flexibility to select solutions in the same package across a 6A to 12A range.
