The TPS624xx-Q1 device series is a dual-channel synchronous step-down DC/DC converter suitable for automotive applications, such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This series can provide two independent output voltage rails powered by standard 3.3 or 5 V voltage rails, as well as optimized fixed output voltages to power CMOS imagers or serializer-deserializers in ADAS camera modules. The EasyScale™ serial interface supports modification of the output voltage during operation. The fixed output voltage version of the TPS624xx-Q1 supports simple dynamic voltage regulation with single-pin control for low-power processors. The TPS624xx-Q1 device series can operate at a fixed switching frequency of 2.25 MHz and enter the power-saving mode under light load current conditions to maintain high efficiency across the entire load current range. For low-noise applications, the device can be forced into the fixed-frequency PWM mode by pulling up the MODE/DATA pin. The shutdown mode can reduce the current consumption to a typical value of 1.2 μA. This device allows the use of small inductors and capacitors, enabling a small solution size.
