The TPS6286x devices are high-frequency synchronous buck converters with I2C and VSEL interfaces. These devices provide an efficient, flexible, and high-power-density point-of-load DC/DC solution. The converter operates in PWM mode under medium-to-high load conditions and automatically enters a power-save mode at light loads, maintaining high efficiency across the entire load current range. The device can also be forced into PWM mode to achieve minimum output voltage ripple. With its DCS-Control topology, the device delivers excellent load transient performance and meets stringent output voltage accuracy requirements. The output voltage can be rapidly adjusted via the I2C interface and a dedicated VSEL pin, allowing the power consumption of the load to adapt to the continuously changing performance demands of the application. The TPS6286x family offers two VSEL pins and four factory-preset voltages, enabling use without an I²C interface.
