TPS6287B10, TPS6287B15, TPS6287B20, TPS6287B25, and TPS6287B30 are a family of pin-compatible 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, and 30A synchronous step-down DC/DC converters with an I²C interface and differential remote sense. All devices offer high efficiency and ease of use. Low-resistance power switches allow output currents up to 30A at high ambient temperatures. These devices can operate in stacked mode to deliver higher output current or distribute power dissipation across multiple devices. The TPS6287Bxx family employs a fixed-frequency DCS control scheme for fast transient response. Devices can operate in power-save mode for maximum efficiency or in forced PWM mode for optimal transient performance and minimum output voltage ripple. The optional remote sense feature enables maximum voltage regulation at the point of load, and the device achieves ±0.8% DC voltage accuracy across the entire output voltage range. The I²C-compatible interface provides a wide range of control, monitoring, and warning functions, such as voltage monitoring and temperature-related warnings. The output voltage can be rapidly adjusted to adapt performance requirements based on load power consumption. The default startup voltage is set by selecting resistors on the VSET1 and VSET2 pins.
