TPS7A66-Q1 and TPS7A69-Q1 are low-dropout linear regulators designed for circuits operating at input voltages up to 40V. These devices feature a quiescent current of only 12μA at no load, making them ideal for standby microprocessor control unit systems, particularly in automotive applications where low power consumption is a critical concern. These devices incorporate integrated short-circuit and overcurrent protection. At power-up, the devices perform a reset delay to indicate that the output voltage is stable and in regulation. Users can set this delay using an external capacitor. The low-voltage tracking feature allows the use of smaller input capacitors and potentially eliminates the need for a boost converter under cold-start conditions. These devices operate over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The TPS7A6650EDGNRQ1 device is AEC-Q100 Grade 0 compliant, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C.
