Overview
The TPS7A7002 is a high-performance, positive-voltage, low-dropout (LDO) regulator designed for applications requiring ultra-low input voltage and ultra-low dropout at currents up to 3A. The device supports a single input voltage as low as 1.425V, with an output voltage programmable down to 0.5V. The output voltage can be set using an external resistor divider. The TPS7A7002 features ultra-low dropout, making it ideal for applications where VOUT is very close to VIN. Additionally, the TPS7A7002 includes an enable pin to further reduce power dissipation in shutdown mode. The TPS7A7002 provides excellent regulation performance across line, load, and temperature variations. The TPS7A7002 is available in an 8-pin small PowerPAD package option.
