Overview

TX4101 is a high-efficiency synchronous rectification PWM buck DC-DC converter. Its input voltage range is 2.5V to 5.5V, suitable for single-cell battery-powered applications. The device features 100% duty cycle capability, helping to extend battery life. Quiescent current under no-load conditions is 200uA, dropping to below 1uA during shutdown. The integrated synchronous switch improves efficiency, eliminating the need for an external Schottky diode. The 1.0MHz/1.4MHz switching frequency allows the use of small, thin inductors and ceramic capacitors, enabling a compact solution. The chip is available in a SOT23-5 package.
