U6116

U6116 is a high-performance primary-side regulation controller with high-accuracy CV/CC control, ideally suited for charger applications. The IC also supports quasi-resonant buck CC topology for LED lighting. In CV mode, the U6116 employs multi-mode control combining amplitude modulation and frequency modulation to enhance system efficiency and reliability. In CC mode, the IC utilizes PFM control with line and load CC compensation. The IC enables audio-noise-free operation and optimized dynamic response. The built-in cable voltage drop compensation delivers excellent CV performance. The U6116 integrates protection features including UVLO, VDD OVP, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, short-circuit load protection, gate clamping, and VDD clamping.
