Overview

VPS2107 is a highly integrated power control IC suitable for multiple topologies (Flyback, Boost, Buck) and output voltage feedback methods (SSR, PSR, resistor divider). It supports PSR feedback at switching frequencies of hundreds of KHz, with a built-in output voltage sampling circuit that operates in both CCM and DCM modes, requiring a sampling voltage time window as low as 400nS. The built-in loop compensation circuit with fast dynamic response delivers excellent stability and dynamic response performance for switching power supplies. VPS2107 integrates multiple control functions with a simple peripheral design, allowing peripheral parameters to be configured according to actual requirements. A single resistor serves three functions: startup, feedforward compensation, and programming the turn-off speed of the integrated power switch. A single resistor programs the peak current of the power switch for "lossless" current sensing. Two resistors enable simultaneous configuration of both input undervoltage protection and input overvoltage protection thresholds. VPS2107 integrates overpower protection, output short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection, overtemperature protection, and more. All protections support auto-recovery once the abnormal condition is removed, maximizing the reliability of the switching power supply system.
