Overview
EG2184 is a cost-effective gate driver IC for MOSFETs and IGBTs with SD functionality. It integrates logic signal input processing, dead-time control, undervoltage lockout, level shift, pulse filtering, and output drive circuits, designed for brushless motor controllers and DC-DC power supply drive circuits. The EG2184 supports a high-side operating voltage up to 600V and a wide low-side VCC supply voltage range of 10V~20V. The input channel IN features a built-in 200K pull-down resistor, and SD features a built-in 200K pull-down resistor, keeping both high-side and low-side power MOSFETs off when inputs are floating. Output current capability is 10±1 - 1.9/2.3A, housed in an SOP8 package.
