Overview
The MCP1703T-xx02E/DB series linear regulators utilize a unique BiCMOS process, featuring low quiescent current (90μA), low dropout voltage, and high output voltage accuracy. The space-efficient SOT-223 package is suited for portable applications. Output voltage is factory-preset and laser-trimmed to ±1.5% accuracy, with options ranging from 1.8V to 5.0V. The device incorporates thermal shutdown and current foldback protection to prevent damage under the most severe operating conditions. The MCP1703T-xx02E/DB remains stable with output capacitance of 10μF or greater.
