Overview
MSETA7014S2G is an overvoltage protection IC integrating a high-side power MOSFET with an adjustable overvoltage protection threshold. When the input voltage exceeds the programmed threshold, the IC turns off the high-side FET to protect the downstream load. The device supports a maximum operating voltage of 36V. When the FB pin is left floating or tied to ground, the default internal overvoltage protection threshold is 6.1V. The overvoltage lockout threshold is also adjustable from 4.0V to 15V via the ratio of external resistors R1 and R2. The IC also integrates a thermal protection function to monitor the die temperature and ensure safe operation. This product is available in a halogen-free, RoHS-compliant SOT-23-6 package.
