The device integrates programmable digital volume control, microphone bias voltage, PLL, programmable HPF, biquad filters, low-latency filter mode, and supports output sample rates up to 768kHz. It supports TDM, I2S, or LJ audio formats and is controlled via an I²C interface. In addition, the PCMD3140 supports master/slave mode selection for audio bus interface operation. These integrated high-performance features, combined with single-supply operation at 3.3V or 1.8V, make the device well-suited for space-constrained audio systems in far-field microphone recording applications. The PCMD3140 is rated for an operating temperature range of –40°C to +125°C and is available in a 20-pin WQFN package.
