The STM32U083xC devices are ultra-low-power microcontrollers based on the high-performance Arm Cortex-M0+ 32-bit RISC core, operating at frequencies up to 56 MHz. The devices feature high-speed embedded memory, including 256 KB Flash and 40 KB SRAM (with hardware parity check), a rich set of enhanced I/Os and peripherals connected via APB and AHB buses, and a 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix. The devices offer protection mechanisms for embedded Flash and SRAM, such as read protection and write protection. Analog peripherals include a 12-bit ADC, a 12-bit DAC, two rail-to-rail analog comparators, and an operational amplifier. Timer resources include a low-power RTC, one general-purpose 32-bit timer, one 16-bit PWM timer dedicated to motor control, three general-purpose 16-bit timers, and three 16-bit low-power timers. The devices also integrate up to 21 capacitive sensing channels and an LCD controller capable of driving 8×48 or 4×52 display segments using an internal step-up converter. Communication interfaces include four I2C, three SPI, four USART, and three low-power UART interfaces, as well as a crystal-less USB full-speed device. In addition, the devices incorporate an AES hardware accelerator. The operating temperature ranges are -40°C to +85°C (junction temperature +105°C) and -40°C to +125°C (junction temperature +130°C). When using the internal LDO regulator, the VDD supply range is 1.71 V to 3.6 V, with a comprehensive set of power-saving modes for low-power application design. Independent power supplies are supported, including a dedicated analog supply input for the ADC, DAC, operational amplifier, and comparators, as well as a VBAT input for the RTC and backup registers. The STM32U083xC is offered in eight package options ranging from 32 to 81 pins.
