Overview
TP4054 is a single-cell lithium battery charge management IC that employs trickle/constant current/constant voltage charging. The charge voltage is set at 4.2V, and the charge current is programmable via an external resistor. When the battery voltage reaches the set value and the charge current drops to 1/10 of the programmed value, TP4054 terminates charging and enters standby mode, with supply current below 100uA. When the supply is removed, TP4054 automatically enters a low-power standby state, with battery leakage current below 1uA. TP4054 integrates undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge, and charge status indicator pins.
