This product is a complete single-cell lithium-ion battery CC/CV linear charge management IC. It features an internal PMOS architecture with integrated reverse-charge prevention circuitry, eliminating the need for external sense resistors and isolation diodes, while also providing battery reverse-polarity protection. The IC incorporates a thermal feedback function that adaptively adjusts the charge current to limit junction temperature under high-power or high-temperature conditions. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V, and the charge current is programmable via an external resistor. When the charge voltage reaches the final float voltage and the charge current drops to 1/10 of the programmed value, the charge cycle terminates automatically. When the input power source is removed, the IC automatically enters a low-current state, reducing battery leakage current to below 1μA.
