Overview

The TPS22950x is a compact single-channel load switch with robust protection against fault conditions, including adjustable output current limiting, reverse current blocking, and thermal shutdown. The switch state is controlled by a digital input that interfaces directly with low-voltage control signals. When power is first applied, an intelligent pull-down holds the ON pin from floating until system sequencing is complete. After the pin is intentionally driven high, the intelligent pull-down disconnects to prevent unnecessary power loss. The TPS22950/C uses auto-retry behavior during overcurrent events, while the TPS22950L employs a debounce time and latch-off behavior. The TPS22950x is available in standard WCSP and leaded SOT packages, with an operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
