Overview

TPS563249 is a simple, easy-to-use 3A synchronous buck converter in a SOT-23 package. The device is optimized to minimize external components required for operation and to achieve low standby current. This switching regulator uses D-CAP3 mode control to provide fast transient response and supports low ESR output capacitors such as high-polymer capacitors and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors without requiring external compensation components. The TPS563249 operates in forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM), maintaining a fixed 1.4MHz switching frequency during light-load operation while eliminating system interference. The TPS563249 is available in a 6-pin 1.6mm×2.9mm SOT (DDC) package with a rated junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
