The MSP430 series of ultra-low-power microcontrollers comes in a wide variety. Each member device is equipped with different peripheral sets to meet the requirements of various applications. The device features a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, which uses 16-bit registers and a constant generator to achieve maximum coding efficiency.
