Overview

NX3DV42GU is a bidirectional low-power dual-port high-speed USB 2.0 analog switch with integrated protection, designed for USB Type-C systems. The device is configured as a dual 2:1 or 1:2 switch, optimized for use on USB 2.0 DP/DM lines in USB Type-C systems. The device achieves true isolation — even when the COM+/- voltage exceeds VCC, only minimal current flows back to the supply. It features low bit-to-bit skew and high inter-channel noise isolation, and is compatible with multiple standards such as high-speed USB 2.0 (480 Mbps). Each switch is bidirectional with minimal or no attenuation of high-speed signals at the output. The bandwidth is wide enough to pass high-speed USB 2.0 differential signals (480 Mb/s) with good signal integrity. The SEL pin control logic is compatible with 1.8V GPIO. The NX3DV42GU is available in a QFN1418 (X-QFN-10(1.4x1.8)) package, lead-free and halogen-free, making it an ideal choice for mobile devices and space-constrained applications.
