TPS546C20ARVFT

The TPS546C20A device is a non-isolated DC-DC converter in a 5mm×7mm package that complies with the PMBus 1.3 specification. It integrates FETs and can operate at high frequencies and output a current of 35A. Two TPS546C20A devices can be connected in parallel to generate a load current of up to 70A. Current sensing is achieved by sampling a small amount of power stage current and is independent of the device temperature. The integrated NexFET power stage and optimized driver provide high-frequency, low-loss switching capabilities, enabling ultra-high-density power supply solutions. The PMBus interface enables the AVS function through VOUT_COMMAND and supports flexible converter configuration and monitoring of key parameters (including output voltage, current, and internal chip temperature monitoring). The response to fault conditions can be set to restart, latch, or ignore, depending on the system requirements.
