The TPS546C23 device is a non-isolated DC-DC converter in a 5mm×7mm package, PMBus 1.3 compliant, with integrated FETs capable of operating at high frequency and delivering 35A output current. Two TPS546C23 devices can be paralleled to provide up to 70A of load current. Current sensing is implemented by sampling a small fraction of the power stage current, independent of device temperature. The integrated NexFET power stage and optimized drivers provide high-frequency, low-loss switching for ultra-high-density power solutions. The PMBus interface enables AVS via VOUT_COMMAND, while supporting flexible converter configuration and monitoring of key parameters including output voltage, current, and internal die temperature. Responses to fault conditions can be configured as restart, latch-off, or ignore, depending on system requirements.
